J.H. Youngblood Park offers four Little League baseball fields and
a swimming pool. The lighted park area is accessible for day and

University, the world’s largest Baptist University, has a
well-respected reputation in the world of academia. The Texas

Community College is a public junior college with a large

Health Care
Residents have convenient access to several medical facilities,
including Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center and Providence Health

City
Government
Robinson is a Home Rule City operating with the
Council-Manager form of government. The seven-member elected
City Council sets policy and appoints a City Manger who is
responsible for the day-to-day operations. City operations
include water production and distribution, wastewater collection,
street repair and maintenance, police, municipal court, inspection
and other general governmental functions.

Because Robinson is located near IH-35 (the NAFTA Highway), it is
ideally suited for distribution companies. Loop 340 provides easy access
to IH-35 and State Highway 6. State Highway 6 connects to Houston and
IH-20. State Highway 77 connects to the Texas Coast. Robinson has access
to 30 common carrier truck lines with the largest intrastate carrier
located in Waco.
Transportation:
Waco Regional Airport is serviced by commuter airlines offering
non-stop passenger and freight service to Dallas-Fort Worth International
Airport and Houston. The 900 acre McGregor Municipal Airport is used by
single and multi-engine aircraft as well as helicopters.
The City of Robinson covers a 48 square mile area south of the City
of Waco. Land is available at affordable prices in lots or tracts up
to 500 acres. The Economic Development Committee welcomes the opportunity
to assist businesses in locating a desirable tract for light industry,
distribution facilities, or retail development. Site information and

The City of Robinson enjoys 24 hour police
coverage by state certified police officers employed by the City
of Robinson.
The Robinson Fire Department has eight pieces of
Fire Fighting equipment manned by a trained volunteer group of
citizens. The citizens enjoy a fire insurance rate which is
comparable to other larger cities.

office in Waco. Robinson has a sub-station which offers the
