The Greater Robinson Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a
wonderful line up of events, programs and activities coming up in 2009:
- New Resident Welcome Bags - Given out by the City Water Dept. each time a new resident has their water turned on, only Chamber members will be able to provide the promotional materials for the bags
- A New Robinson City Map - Only Chamber Members will be given the opportunity to advertise on this map
- The "Big Blue Classic" Golf Tournament - Benefiting the GRCC Robinson High School Scholarship Fund (be sure to check out the website by following the link)
- Business After Hours - A BAH event will be planned for each month of the year starting this Fall, only Chamber members will be able to sponsor these events
- Think Tank Meetings - An open forum for Chamber members to come share their ideas and network with other local business owners in the Robinson community
- The Annual Chamber Banquet - Held in March of each year, the Chamber Banquet is one of the biggest networking events of the year
- The Annual Robinson Christmas Parade - A city parade open to all businesses and citizens, as well as surrounding area communities
- A New Chamber Website - Full of useful resources and information for our members, now linked to the City website, only Chamber members will be listed on our NEW online Business Directory
- Business Directory - A complete listing of all Chamber members, contact information and website's, as well as advertising by those members (a church, school, and apartment directory will also be included)
- Shop Robinson Campaign - A new campaign being launched this summer that will help to encourage the Robinson community to shop locally, only Chamber members will be listed as campaign distributors
- Robinson High School Scholarship Fund - The GRCC donates Scholarships to local Robinson students each year
- The Rocket Store - Shop Robinson Texas gear for the whole family
- Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies - Both new and current Chamber members can participate in Ribbon Cutting ceremonies for member companies anytime a new business or location is opened
- News Channel 10's "Our Town - Robinson" Program - The Chamber will be involved with KWTX's Our Town Project coming this Fall
- Committee Involvement - Sit on one of our many Committee's and make a difference in the Chamber events and programs
